The members of the PJLink Subcommittee believe that all users should desirably be able to use intellectual property rights (patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, trademark rights and copyrights) that are needed in commercializing products that are based on the PJLink specification. |

The PJLink Subcommittee confirms that its members will license essential industrial property rights, including those that are in the application process, related to the PJLink specification indiscriminately under reasonable conditions including royalty-free licensing in accordance with the IP policy of ISO.* |

Licensing procedures for essential industrial property rights will be processed by the members who own desired industrial property. |

Essential industrial property rights, including those that are in the application process, related to the PJLink specification shall be handled in accordance with the application procedures for admission. |
